About Sheree
I’ve been ministering to women for over thirty years. For me it began in an unconventional way, it started behind a chair; a beauty shop chair. You’ve probably heard the old adage that women tell their hairdresser everything, and I’ll just say… I’ve heard a lot. From behind the chair I learned the value of being authentic and real as women openly shared their hopes, dreams, disappointments and struggles. Together we’d laugh and cry as we discussed the matters of our hearts.
Over the years God has continually opened doors for me to share His story with women in a real and authentic way that opens hearts. While my ministry started behind a chair, it continued in living rooms through Bible studies and eventually to classrooms at the church.
Today I love to bring the “real” factor to the forefront in everything I do. Whether I’m speaking to a large audience, writing my blog or mentoring just one woman my goal is to be real about the struggles I face, so that others feel free to do the same. I am passionate about encouraging women to step over the fence of whatever holds them back… and into a vibrant walk with Christ.
Currently I serve on staff as the Women’s Ministry Director at Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia. I am a Bible teacher, speaker, spiritual coach for leaders, event coordinator, writer and mentor and that’s just what I do for my day job. I’m also a wife, mother of three sons and mother-in-law to my first daughter-in-love.
